The Room (Aparche)

Room Features

1. 2 foot length walk space. Bags are left at the open deck below the room.
2. No power points inside room. Please bring enough powerbank. There are 2 powerpoints below the room.
3. Bathroom is 10 metres away.
4. 1 ceiling fan
5. Will hear sound of gushing water the whole night.
6. Room is not completely sealed. Slight opening allows many harmless insects to enter.
7. Place is safe. Do bring along a big plastic sheet e.g. poncho where you can cover your belongings left below in case of rain.

Sanitary

     

Toilet Features

1. Clean
2. Squatting toilet
3. Shower is totally open. Make sure no one is flying a drone before showering!
4. No hot shower. Icy cold water splatters from a pipe above. Shower before sun down!
5. There was body shower and shampoo in one of the female shower unit. I guess it belonged to the care taker who stays there.

Food

Breakfast is not provided. However the nice care taker bought us nasi lemak. Rice, chilli, fish and egg.

Lunch/Dinner

There is a nice place selling western food along the way up. Nero Bianco Deli. Managed to take a photo of the menu and the owner.

More information: Retired Chef. Wife owns a piece of land. He decided to retire there. He finds it is very difficult to find good + western food in this area, so he decided to use the land to open a small restaurant. He is using the open space behind to build a camping ground. He built them.

A swing. They are adding more features, one at a time. So there might be something more in the future.

Other Information

1. They burn their own trash. So please refrain from throwing plastic waste there. Toxic!
2. The way to this place is one car width for 2 way traffic.
3. There are chickens running around.
4. You can ride all the way in and park in front of your unit.
5. They have a lounge area where you can make your own drinks, watch TV.
6. Forget about alarm clocks, there are roosters to wake you up. Go natural!
